La perra

La perra

Quintana, Pilar

In a small town in the Pacific, where the perfection of nature and the violence of the region come together, the story of Damaris takes place, an elderly woman from the area who has been living with Rogelio for many years. Her turbulent relationship has been marked by the fruitless search for a child: they try everything possible, and still she cannot get pregnant. With all hope lost, Damaris finds a new hope when she is presented with the opportunity to adopt a dog. This new and intense bond with the animal will be for Damaris the experience that will force her to reflect on her instinct and motherhood.
