La historia de Aria
Hozar, Nazanine
In the early 1950s, in a powerful but divisive Iran, a lowly Iranian army chauffeur named Behruz drives through Tehran on his way home. Suddenly, the weak and pitiful sob of a baby reaches his ears. What Behruz doesn't know is that this girl, whom he will call Aria, is going to cause a radical turnaround in their lives. Through the eyes of a newborn, we will meet three very different women forced by chance to play the mother of this orphan girl: the irresponsible and self-absorbed Zahra, married to Behruz; the wealthy and compassionate Fereshté, who after welcoming her into her home adopts her and appoints her heiress; and finally the enigmatic and needy Mehri, who turns out to be both a blessing and a burden.
