La fàbrica (1972) is one of the key books in the career of Miquel Martí i Pol: the volume in which the social poetry cultivation stage culminates and ends. This new edition, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the work's appearance, rescues the prologue by Jordi Sarsanedas in the first edition and the notes by Martí and Pol to two re-editions; and is complemented by the reproduction of a previous book by the poet, also titled The Factory-1959.
