La España del siglo XVIII
luces y sombras del reinado de los Borbones
Montagut, Eduardo
This book aims to offer a quick approach to the Spanish 18th century, a period of changes within the modern era, of attempts at reforms with the aim of placing Spain on the path of economic development and of the cultural and educational advances of the European Enlightenment . And all this was raised from a new dynasty: the Bourbons. But it was also a century of strong resistance to change. The Spanish eighteenth century began when, before the dynastic change, an international coalition was organized to prevent it, together with a part of the Hispanic Monarchy, also reluctant to the Bourbons for their centralizing commitment. It was the War of the Spanish Succession whose consequences left a deep mark.
