Ari Abrams has always been fascinated by the weather and loves almost everything about her work as a weatherwoman. Her boss, legendary meteorologist Torrance Hale, is too distracted by her stormy relationship with her ex-husband, the news director, to provide Ari with the career guidance she needs. Ari, who usually exudes joy and optimism, is desperate. The only person she seems to understand how she feels is sweet but reserved sportswriter Russell Barringer. After a disastrous party, Ari and Russell decide to join forces to solve relationship problems between their bosses. Between secret gifts and double dates, they begin to achieve the much-desired reconciliation. However, her well-intentioned meddling has an unexpected effect by sparking... between Ari and Russell. Working close to Russell means letting him know parts of her that he keeps hidden from the rest of the world. Will he be able to accept her dark clouds as well as his clear skies?
