In Aleppo, the lives of Nuri and his wife, Afra, passed happily together with their son, Sami. He was a beekeeper and dedicated his life to bees, she was an artist of great sensitivity who sold her paintings in the city market. But when the unthinkable happens and war destroys everything they love, they have to escape. As they flee to Turkey and then to Greece, following in the dangerous wake of so many other Syrian refugees, Nuri conjures up her happiest memories so as not to lose hope for the future, one in which she can reconnect with the heather, the bees and her cousin Mustafa, which awaits you in England.
