April 1938. Civil War. Conquest of Lleida by Francoist troops. After raiding a farmhouse in Rufea's game, Lieutenant Jorge de Arespacochaga rapes the young Brígida Serra. The soldier, a Navarrese with a very rigid religious upbringing, regrets it, apologizes to the girl and begins to visit her, despite her rejection. He even falls in love with her and asks her to marry him. Brigida does not accept, however. Not only does she not want to marry him, she hates him and plans to take revenge on him. With this episode begins L'altra guerra, a story of loves and hates, of crimes and revenge, with unexpected twists and unforeseen reactions.
