Islandis

When college student John Lang befriends Dorn, a young man from Iceland, he discovers a mysterious kingdom in the southern hemisphere that has little to do with other nations. Driven by curiosity, John learns the language, and when his uncle, a businessman who wants to start business relations with Icelanders, proposes to go as US consul, John leaves for that remote territory. There he will meet a little developed town, but very advanced on a social level, and will come into contact with energetic men and brave and enigmatic women, affected by internal political struggles over opening up to the outside world.
