Irrompible

el arte de levantarse siempre una vez más

García, Cisco

Cisco García had an enviable life: he worked as a lawyer, was in love with his partner, traveled a lot, had a very active social life ... and every Christmas he went with his friends to Austria to start the year snowboarding, his passion. It was on one of those trips that one bad jump changed everything. He was thirty-three years old. When he woke up in the hospital, he knew that his life had changed forever: the accident had left him in a wheelchair. Anyone would have fallen apart, but not him. He decided he wasn't going to let an obstacle sink him, and as soon as he could, he switched from snowboarding to tennis and dedicated himself to training to become one of the best wheelchair tennis players in the country. Now, five years later, Cisco tells his entire story in this book and shares his reflections and the lessons he has gained throughout his life that have helped him overcome the most difficult moments. Because, as he himself says, you don't have to run from difficulties, you have to face them, and understand that things require time and effort. In life things will happen to us that will be wonderful and others that will not, everything is part of the experience. The important thing is the attitude we maintain. That we get up after falling. That we embrace life as it comes, always looking for a way to get ahead.
