Guia de punts d'interès geològic de Catalunya

In this book we will find described and located 42 places in Catalonia where you can see geological aspects that include materials (rocks and sediments), as well as structures (faults and folds). Each of these places has been chosen from the geological points of interest of Catalonia that have been published digitally in the Department of Territory and Sustainability of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and selected according to the criteria of ease of access and little geological complexity. These points allow you to take a tour of the entire geography of Catalonia and also a first taste of geology. It is a pretext to stimulate knowledge of this natural world that is often hidden. The geological information needed to identify the materials and structures in each case is provided, and is done in the most affordable way possible for non-specialists. It is a useful book, with a lot of reliable information and accompanied by drawings, diagrams and photographs that help to understand each of the places described.
