Goblin Slayer, 5

Goblin Slayer, 5

Kagyu, Kumo

It all begins when a young Priestess just out of the temple decides to join a group of rookies for a seemingly simple mission: eliminate goblins, repulsive beings but with the size and strength of a human child. After all, taking care of a bunch of weak goblins, even if you're a beginner, can't be that difficult, can it? In a world where super-risky missions and outrageous monsters are taken lightly, massacres of poorly trained people are the order of the day. In just a few minutes, the team is savagely slaughtered and the Priestess is saved at the last minute by Goblin Slayer, an experienced silver-ranked adventurer who is obsessed with annihilating that race, thus initiating an uneasy alliance between the two. From here, the story follows the Priestess and other adventurers who join the Goblin Slayer on his mission to eradicate all the goblins on the planet. Acting almost like a deconstruction of the mechanisms of a genre sometimes as trite as Fantasy, the author is in charge of exposing the most realistic issues.
