Abel is a shy boy who stutters when speaking. One afternoon when he returned from school, the three boys who harassed him force him into the dilapidated house next to his house. The townspeople say that the most frightening and horrible monster in the world lives there, although no one has ever seen it. Abel discovers this supposed monster is called Gabriel, a disproportionately gigantic young man due to illness, and from that day on he will be tied to the monster and their friendship will strengthen over time. Gabriel will help Abel conquer his fears and will make him discover that nothing is impossible and that all dreams can be fulfilled. What Abel does not know is that Gabriel also hides a secret that has prevented him from going out on the streets for the last twenty-five years.
