An unexpected inheritance gives Greg Heffley's family the opportunity to renovate their home. But they soon find out that getting the job done isn't as easy as it seems. Once the partitions come down, trouble ensues: rotting wood, toxic mold, nasty bugs and something even more sinister make Greg and his family wonder if all the fuss is worth it.
