This is Miquel Desclot's most recent book of poetry. And also the great anthology of classical Japanese lyrics that we will find in Catalan: one hundred and seventy authors, from the 4th century to the present day, with haikus and tankas chosen and versioned -or "annotated" in the tradition of Marià Manent and her " interpretations" of Chinese poetry- by the poet Miquel Desclot. From a first anthology published in 1995, Per tot coixí les herbes, Desclot has more than doubled the number of authors and poems, while at the same time revising those that were already present. The volume is accompanied by prologues by Ángel Crespo and Jordi Mas López, which also constitute an excellent introduction to Japanese lyric poetry and complete a unique volume of poetry, an exceptional book of Japanese poetry written in Catalan.
