Lucía Almandoz, a young woman from Barcelona who at the end of the 20th century is going through a personal crisis and lives gripped by the fear of an anodyne future, is unexpectedly transported to the year 1892. Dressed in a hat and bustle, she appears at the farm she has in Melijovo (Russia) the writer Anton Chekhov, whose work he knows and admires. This fun and original novel, in addition to being a moving story full of humor, is a magnificent introduction to the work of Anton Chekhov.
