In his youth, Olivier was a great magician with worldwide success, but he fell into discouragement and over the years and old age he barely survives by performing at birthday parties. After a failed performance in which the children make fun of him, he decides to quit, but saying goodbye to magic with a final great trick: bringing a girl from a Sorolla painting back to life. The effort is such that he ends up having a seizure and ends up in a nursing home, where a young psychologist takes an interest in him.
