El tocadiscos de Joan Fuster

Alabajos, Pau

In the eighties, a journalist visits Joan Fuster's house in Sueca to do an interview. He wants to talk to him about his relationship with music, because of a text he has read in a book by Josep Pla, Notes for Sílvia, where the author of l'Empordà recreates his visit to ca Fuster, with special attention to the music playing on the record player. From this moment, the two interlocutors begin a conversation that deals with the role played by the Sixteen Judges in the anti-Franco struggle, the importance of the New Song during the democratic transition and other social, political and cultural issues that affect our recent history. The songs by Raimon, Lluís Llach, Maria del Mar Bonet, Ovidi Montllor, Al Tall or Quico Pi de la Serra, alluded to during the interview, make up the soundtrack of the show and, in turn, of the book.
