El tiempo de las moscas
Piñeiro, Claudia
Inés is released after fifteen years in prison for having murdered Charo, her ex-husband's lover. Her life has changed, as has society: the advance of feminism, equal marriage and abortion laws, inclusive language. Inés, a traditional housewife and for whom her motherhood was not something happy, she understands that she must be practical and adapt. She even if it costs her. She partners with the only friend she made in prison, La Manca, and they start a double company: she deals with fumigation and her partner investigates as a private detective. Like Thelma and Louise from the Buenos Aires suburbs, Inés and La Manca face complex situations of their new reality, with the desire to reinvent themselves. Until one of Inés's clients, Mrs. Bonar, proposes a very disturbing exchange; As a way out of the darkness of the past, the proposal may tip the balance dangerously to the unfavorable side. But it can also change their lives.
