The First Republic, 1873-1874, which ended with the pronouncement of Martínez Campos and the Bourbon restoration, and the Second Republic, from April 1931 until the start of the Franco dictatorship, are two historical periods linked to each other that keep many of the keys to understand and interpret our present since the ideological foundations of current politics have many of their roots in those events that definitely marked profound social changes.
