El món de cada dia i altres restriccions mentals
Fuster, Joan
Fluixà, Josep A.
(ed.)
Throughout his life, Joan Fuster's collaboration with different magazines was most intense. From 1959 to 1984, with a few breaks, he published more than 150 articles in one of the dean's publications in the cultural press, Serra d'Or, linked to the Montserrat Abbey Publications. In the period from 1968 to 1973 he maintained a stable section, entitled "Mental Restrictions," from which the articles in this book come. Although in his Complete Work Carpenter had collected a part under the title The World of Every Day, this is the first time that they are published in an independent volume. Complemented with other articles in the same section, this new book, edited by Josep Antoni Fluixà, returns us to the most brilliant, elegant and controversial Carpenter. In the pages of Everyday World and Other Mental Restrictions we will recognize the author of Dictionary for the Idle, that ironic and humanistic intellectual who, being Swedish, built one of the major works of twentieth-century European literature.
