El misterio de Pale Horse
Christie, Agatha
Historian Mark Easterbrook is involved in a complex story of seemingly natural deaths with one common element: the names of the deceased were on a list written by the reverend Gorman the night he was assassinated. Mark and his friend and writer of detective novels, Ariadne Oliver, participate in a party after which they have the opportunity to see The Pale Horse, a mysterious mansion that was once an inn and where currently three strange women live who organize sessions of spiritism and sorcery. There Mark meets Mr. Venables, who has been identified by the town pharmacist as the man who was following Reverend Gorman on the night of his passing. Is it possible that the reverend's list has some connection to the three women and to the Pale Horse? Mark must handle the case and arrest the murderer before the next name on the list is removed. A murdered woman, three witches and a mysterious mansion.
