As every night, old Sir Charles Baskerville had gone for a walk on his private estate in the county of Devon, in the south-west of England; that time he did not return. His body appeared at the end of the road, and the autopsy ruled that he had suffered a heart attack. Police found no trace of violence, although a witness claimed to have heard Sir Charles's terrifying screams. But there are too many mysteries, around this death; and, above all, an old legend about a hellish dog and a cursed family... Dr. Mortimer, dissatisfied with the police investigation, asks Sherlock Holmes and his inseparable Dr. Watson for help, who will take care of solve the case.
