Documentary director Kyle Freeman is going through a rough patch. He faces bankruptcy and oblivion, until he accepts the commission to make an unusual documentary. In 1975, the Temple of the Last Days sect self-immolated in a night of ritual violence. Since then, the group's mystical secrets and paranormal experiences are rumored to have lain hidden behind their legacy of murder, sexual perversions and prison sentences. As filming begins, a series of inexplicable events begin to take place: Kyle receives disturbing nocturnal visits and discovers frightening objects that seem like warnings directed at him, while his interviewees begin to die suddenly. Kyle discovers, too late, that he is deep in the cult's hideous legacy and that there is a good reason those involved in the case have remained silent for decades...
