El feminismo queer es para todo el mundo

El feminismo queer es para todo el mundo

Trujillo Barbadillo, Gracia

What is "queer"? What are its origins and theoretical tools? What are your discrepancies with a sector of feminism that considers you a Trojan horse within the movement? At a time when these debates seemed to have passed, the reaction of the so-called trans-exclusive sector and the extreme right have brought them back, fueling many misunderstandings. "What is queer" is not a neoliberal product nor do queer people choose their sex/gender/identity just like that. Queer theories provide many keys to a more fluid understanding of issues related to genders, sexualities, identities and corporalities, beyond binarisms. In addition, they take into account how gender, class, sexuality, age, ability, race, ethnicity, immigration status intersect... key issues to question the very privileges of whiteness, class or citizenship, among others. others. Gracia Trujillo also claims that queer pedagogies reach the educational field, that activist paths, coalitions between the feminist struggle and that of LGBTI+ and queer groups be known and valued. Recovering these pacts, focusing more on common goals and less on identities, now acquires special relevance.
