El fascismo de los antifascistas

Pasolini, Pier Paolo

The reflection on fascism and its historical evolution runs throughout Pasolini's work: this volume collects some of his most significant texts written on the subject between September 1962 and February 1975. In them Pasolini warns against a new form of fascism, more subtle and insidious, understood 'as normality, as a codification of the brutally selfish background of a society'. It is the system of consumption, which since the sixties has been in charge of the cultural homologation of all countries: a power without a face, without a black shirt and without a fez, but capable of shaping lives and consciences. More than forty years later, these interventions keep their critical force intact, allowing us to capture some of the deepest features of today's world.
