El elixir de flor de luna

The kingdom of Kandala is on the verge of collapse. The fights between the different sectors have only worsened since a disease began to ravage the lands, and the only known remedy, the elixir prepared with moonflower petals, is severely limited. The king clings to a flimsy peace with an implacable hand. In the Jungle, Tessa Cade, an apothecary apprentice, and her best friend Wes are tired of seeing how people suffer. They risk their lives night after night to steal moonflower petals and distribute the elixir to those in need, but it's not enough. When rumors begin that the remedy is no longer working and voices begin to rise calling for a revolution, a particularly cruel decision by the king's justice makes Tessa so desperate that she tries the impossible: sneak into the palace. But what she finds inside her leads her to wonder if it's possible to fix Kandala without first destroying the entire kingdom.
