Power, as a mass control structure, does not ignore that it is manipulable through suggestive contagion, nor that it thirsts for submission and demands illusion, fantasy and affectivity. To achieve this mental domain there are very sophisticated techniques, such as brainwashing, which involves repetitive indoctrination, the monopoly and control of information and communications, the cancellation of the critical sense, the reinforcement of group and emotional dependencies, the modification and diet restriction (reduction of glucose and protein), and depersonalization. Today these actions are much simpler thanks to technological advances, and they will be even more so in the short term, which will allow the powerful to achieve absolute control of the populations.
