El crimen de la peregrina

Denise Pikka Thiem, 41, American and of Asian origin, needed to reinvent herself, take a break from her life. A successful film, The Way (El Camino), encouraged her to do it in the same way as her protagonist: walking the Camino de Santiago. On the morning of April 5, 2015, after leaving Astorga (León), the pilgrim disappeared without a trace. This is the story of an exciting investigation by the Police -also of the solidarity of many people- in which from the first minute there was a clear suspect, but in which it seemed impossible to find evidence that could incriminate him. To further complicate matters, diplomatic pressures at the highest level intersected the tireless work of those in charge of the case.
