The happy couple formed by George and Emma Knightley decide to hold a party at Donwell Abbey, their country house, gathering relatives and friends. Mr. Wickham, whose financial tricks have earned him countless enemies, is undoubtedly not invited. As tempers flare and secrets come to light, it becomes clear that everyone would be happier if Mr. Wickham got what he deserved. But everyone is shocked when he is found murdered in the vicinity of the house. Almost everyone there is a suspect, so the responsibility of solving the mystery falls to the two youngest guests: Juliet, the clever and determined daughter of Catherine and Henry Tilney, eager for adventure; and Jonathan, the eldest son of Elizabeth and Fitzwilliam Darcy, whose sense of decorum is so strict that he surpasses even his father.
