El activismo tranquilo
un manifiesto subjetivo a favor de la convivencia
Corredor, Nacho
Spanish democracy is just over forty years old (the day before yesterday, as they say). And its consolidation is due to the willingness shown by politicians of very different ideologies, sometimes conflicting, to build a shared project. Nacho Corredor has had the opportunity, in the last decade, to live closely some of the events that have marked the history of the country. These reflections are born from those experiences. Quiet activism is not a philosophical manifesto or a political chronicle. It only tries to encourage, from first-person analysis and political commitment, to continue keeping alive the need to fight for democracy, in a context of extreme tension and the increase of a reactionary vision of history. This book is a manifesto in favor of coexistence that takes sides without being partisan. A manifesto written from the subjectivity of a millennial born in Santander, raised in Catalonia (and who dreams in Catalan) and who lives and works in Madrid. A subjective text, yes, in favor of community life.
