Cora is an average writer, who subsists writing romantic novels in her grandmother's old house in the center of Madrid. She doesn't know why she dreams every night of the cliff and the forest that she visited in Scotland months ago. A trip that she had given her the best story she had written so far, but that also gave her a connection to everything she saw and felt, which she still, to this day, cannot explain. There she could smell the saltpeter of the sea and she felt how the wind caressed her face. She perceived the energy of those legendary lands, but she could not discover the reason. Ian's life was quiet in the 16th century. Perhaps too much for him to be the eldest son of the laird of the Munro clan, on whom the survival of his people will one day depend. But, while his big moment was coming, he was wasting time with his best friend Will and visiting Laila on the sly.
