It's hard to imagine how far Ferrater's essay production would have gone if he had lived a long life, but the legacy he left us is already of admirable clairvoyance and roundness. This anthology presents a sample ranging from texts on Catalan and foreign literature to some public and private letters, as well as all the interviews he gave and some texts on painting and language. All this is preceded by an essay by Marina Porras that presents the figure of the poet with completeness and good prose.
