Dante

1288. The city of Florence is in the hands of the Guelph leader Corso Donati, a man blinded by power and thirsty for the blood of his enemies, the Ghibellines. In this dark and convulsive scenario lives Dante Alighieri, a brave young man born into a Guelph family and very committed to the political struggles that devastate the region. Although Dante is in love with love, poetry and art, when duty calls him to participate in the decisive battle of Campaldino, he has no choice but to show his courage and face his own destiny in a fight that will mark the course of Italian history and will leave a deep mark on the heart and life of the poet.
