A personal account of the experience of the Dictatorship and the transition to Democracy. This book is made up of two books. In the first, a personal account of intellectual, political and moral life during the sixties of the dictatorship; in the second, Changes of place, the Transition and the first years of Democracy. It is at this moment when a remarkable change takes place in the life of the country, its political transformation and modernization, its isolation ends and it becomes part of Europe. That is not why a certain feeling of frustration disappears in those of us who were born during or immediately after the Civil War, the weight of the years of the Dictatorship has not disappeared, it arises and reminds us of it.
