Consecuencias de amar a un samurái

Margot stows away on the brig Marianne, along with her friends Rose, Liam and Takeshi, fleeing a marriage arranged by her father because of a gambling debt. After a fateful shipwreck they arrive on the Nichinan coast, where pirates and smugglers meet clandestinely to trade their loot. There Takeshi discovers that his family has been massacred by the Genji clan and that his sister, Akira, has been taken as a slave by his leader, Murakama, an ancestral enemy of his lineage. Takeshi is a ronin, a disgraced samurai, a fugitive hunted by Japan's most powerful lords. His life is in danger, but he has returned to repair the honor taken from his lineage and claim justice before the shogun. During the trip to Edo, the capital of the empire, Margot begins to discover the true nature of the enigmatic Takeshi, and succumbs to his iron sense of duty and his bravery. An uncontrollable attraction is born between them that they both try to suppress when they discover that Takeshi's wife, whom they thought was dead, is still alive. After the shogun rejects his request, Takeshi and Liam come up with a plan to rescue Akira. However, they did not count on the fact that the tragedy will catch them in a fist with the name of a woman.
