Colinas de California
Goldberg, Lee
Eve Ronin just fulfilled her dream of joining the Los Angeles County Homicide team. She has achieved it thanks to a viral video in which she stops a famous Hollywood actor from around the corner. The department needs to clean up its image after some disastrous performances, and promoting a media figure like Ronin can help. Insightful, methodical and stubborn, she knows she deserves the job, but she has to prove it to her colleagues, almost all men, more seasoned and older than her. Her future reputation is at stake with her first serious case. At least she has a partner nearing retirement who can teach her a few tricks. Both go to a single-family house in which several rooms are bathed in blood. Everything indicates that there has been a massacre there, but there is no body.
