In 1459, a plague epidemic hits the city of Valencia, in the Trinity monastery, Brigida, the infirmary, takes care of Isabel de Villena, who is in bed with a fever. In addition to the great concern about the threat of plague, strange events are happening at the convent: Sister Isabel's writings have disappeared and something is happening with the relic of the true believer. Brigida, who still hasn't forgotten the inexplicable death of her brother Benigne, twenty years ago, will find herself immersed in an unexpected criminal plot.
