Chocky

Matthew's parents are concerned. At eleven years old, he is already too old to have an imaginary friend; however, they often find him speaking to a presence that is not physically there. This presence - Chocky - interrogates Matthew on strange questions and belittles human progress. Little by little the questions stop seeming absurd: who is Chocky? What can you want from a child?
