My name is Holly Gibbons and I am the daughter of the owner of GBS Airlines. I should be taking advantage of my years at Yale to prepare for the future, but does anyone really think that I am going to worry about studying when I am going to inherit a fortune? The problem is that my father got angry when he discovered that instead of going to class he was spending all day partying, and he sent me to Little Falls, Arkansas, the town where he was born, to my Aunt Molly's house, forcing me to to work on his ranch. But he doesn't know me if he thinks he can keep me there! Although taking away my credit cards and running out of money is a low blow... My name is Clark Barrett and I live in a trailer in Little Falls. I would have loved to go to university and study aeronautical engineering, but it is an impossible dream, because since my mother left us I have been the head of the family. I've been working on Molly and Adam's ranch since I was fourteen to pay bills and debts. Life forced me to fend for myself very soon, and I'm not complaining. I am very curious, and I am passionate about mechanics manuals. Two years ago Adam gave me an e-book with a hundred different manuals. It is my most precious asset. I read all the time, even when I'm walking. Although, after bumping into that uptight Holly Gibbons, I don't know if I'll do it again without noticing where I step.
