Canción de Navidad

The title of the play refers to a Christmas carol. Charles Dickens is a master at collecting that atmosphere in which the spirit of Christmas pervades everything. Hand in hand with three ghosts, those of Christmas past, present and to come, we entered the houses of the bourgeoisie and the lowly class, we strolled through the streets of London and we passed its people. Among all the characters in this moral fable, two have become prototypes: Mr. Scrooge, the protagonist, whose name has become synonymous with grumpy and stingy, and Tiny Tim, the sick and helpless little one, and, like all poor children, the author's favorite.
