Ayrin de les Alcusses
Broseta, Teresa
On one of the elongated peaks of the Serra Grossa, between the Coast and the Vall d'Albaida, there was a short-lived and mysterious Iberian city in the 4th century before Christ, from which the Bastida site has come down to us Alcusses and the famous figure of the Guerrero de Moixent. This novel invites us to imagine the life of Ayrin, a young woman from the town who will face a turbulent past, of which she keeps a gold chain as her main memory, and a difficult future, since her love for the young Esler could be impossible due to the conflicts between the different Iberian cities of the time. Thanks to the author's narrative strength, this novel brings to life an enigmatic and yet fundamental past of our ancient history.
