Archipiélago

Melero, Nina

A work trip takes Sofia to Singapore, where, due to fate, she ends up without money or passport, lost in a boat adrift in the middle of the ocean. It is in this unusual way that their fate will end up entangled with that of Ollauri, an adventurer of Basque origin, and Jahan, a mysterious inhabitant of the islands, two hustlers who flee from the authorities after being involved in the robbery, in the Java Sea, of a 9th century wreck that could be the only physical proof of the existence of the Maritime Silk Road. But not only the Malay authorities are looking for Jahan and Ollauri: also the Dutchman, a dangerous man who will not hesitate to resort to the most extreme methods to find them... Archipelago is a novel that, with the classic flavor of adventure books, outlines a wonderful gallery of charismatic characters, lively, tender, broken and a thousand times recomposed that, beyond embarking on a journey that unites them as unlikely travel companions and that will change them forever, start a search above all, that of themselves.
