Antes del salto

A woman moves to Lisbon with her family, and on the flight that takes them to the city where they are going to live for a year, she realizes that she has forgotten a photo: the one of the horse she rode as a child. What at first seems like an inconsequential oversight provokes in her the concern that in reality something else has been left behind. In a city that she tries to recognize herself among tourists and scaffolding, with a laptop that is missing a key and an Ikea table, the protagonist recovers the memories that that photograph has awakened in her. What do we become when we forget what we were, what filled us, what we projected to be? Before the jump is the story of a reconstruction: that of an identity diluted by time and routine.
