Amor y otros experimentos mentales
Ward, Sophie
Rachel and Eliza want to have a baby. During many happy afternoons, the couple make plans for the future. One night, Rachel wakes up screaming and tells Eliza that she has gotten an ant in her eye and she has stayed inside it. She is aware that she seems crazy, but she also knows that it is true. As a scientist, Eliza doesn't take Rachel's fear seriously and the two get into a bitter fight. Suddenly, their entire relationship falters. Narrated in ten interconnected yet independent chapters - each from the perspective of a different character - and inspired by some of the best-known thought experiments in philosophy, particularly the philosophy of mind, Love and Other Thought Experiments is a story of love lost and found throughout the universe.
