| This volume brings together the culmination of philological and linguistic work undertaken by a wide range of experts in the Anatolian languages. The research papers published here cover practically the entire linguistic and chronological spectrum of the Anatolian group of Indo-European languages, without neglecting important interactions with languages from other cultural environments, among which the Semitic group stands out. The publication can therefore be regarded as a valuable contribution to Anatolian and Indo-European studies, reflecting the persistant and sustained efforts of a group of researchers with a broad array of interests, some of whom have many years of research behind them and are well known in the field. They have now been joined by new scholars, who enable us to foresee a promising future for our disciplines. Este volumen reúne la culminación de los trabajos filológicos y lingüísticos realizados por un amplio abanico de expertos en las lenguas anatolias. Los trabajos de investigación aquí publicados abarcan prácticamente todo el espectro lingüístico y cronológico del grupo anatolio de lenguas indoeuropeas, sin descuidar importantes interacciones con lenguas de otros entornos culturales, entre las que destaca el grupo semítico. La publicación puede considerarse, por tanto, una valiosa contribución a los estudios sobre el anatolio y el indoeuropeo, que refleja el esfuerzo perseverante y sostenido de un grupo de investigadores con intereses muy diversos, algunos de los cuales cuentan con muchos años de investigación a sus espaldas y son bien conocidos en la materia. A ellos se han unido ahora nuevos estudiosos, que nos permiten prever un futuro prometedor para nuestras disciplinas. |
