| En este trabajo analizaremos el desarrollo creciente que la política comunitaria en materia de seguridad y defensa está experimentando en los últimos años hasta convertirse en la actualidad en uno de los ámbitos más fructíferos del proceso de integración. La cuestión de la seguridad y la defensa ha pasado de ser prácticamente un tabú en el proceso de integración a ocupar un lugar central y prioritario en la agenda comunitaria de nuestros días.
