Faustino, Marta
Marta Faustino is a Young Researcher and PhD-Student at the IFL / UNL-FCSH, supported by a PhD-Scholarship from FCT since 2008. She studied Communication Sciences (BA, 2005) and Philosophy (BA, 2005) at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa and is currently writing his PhD thesis on “The Great Health – Nietzsche’s Therapy of Therapy” under the supervision of Prof. João Constâncio (UNL-FCSH) and Prof. Werner Stegmaier (Institut für Philosophie, Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Universität Greifswald). She has worked with Prof. Stegmaier and Nietzsche-Forschungsgruppe Greifswald from October 2008 till March 2011 and during her stay in Greifswald she has also held a lecture on “Philosophy as Therapy: The Stoics and the Epicureans” (WS 2010-2011). She is a member of the Groupe International de Recherches sur Nietzsche (GIRN) and of Nietzsche International Lab (NIL), currently working as a research team member on its project “Nietzsche and the contemporary debate on the Self”, also financed by FCT at the IFL.
